This event will be led by the artist Anisa Skroch! Fun fact- She created the beautiful mural in our lounge, AND recently adopted a bonded pair of brother cats from us!
We’re paying tribute to the art of Pedro Linares, a papier-mâché artist from Mexico. He created sculptures of fantastical creatures he called “Alebrijes” - surreal, dreamlike spirit animals. His vibrant and creative designs have become a celebrated part of Mexican folk art, combining indigenous tradition with modern art. Alebrijes have even become associated with Día de los Muertos, with the spirit animals acting as guides and protectors of the dead.
Of course, our spirit animals are cats!
Each attendee will have their own canvas and painting supplies ready for them. As part of the admission, you'll also receive a unique drink from our fridge!

Stretch and find inner peace with the cafe cats! Yoga instructor (and fellow cat lady)- Sarah Feagan will be guiding the beginner friendly- hour long- yoga class with breaks to pet and play with the kitties!
Once yoga class is done, you can spend the rest of the time mingling, and hanging with the kitties!

This will be a hybrid yoga class, delving into three different varieties of yoga. We will move in slow with yin, get more active in Yang, and finish off with some relaxing restorative. But with kitties! I dare you not to be distracted!🐈🐈⬛
